Privacy Policy

Korveld runs Photodrop, a private one-event album that collects your guests’ photos, with a print studio that makes the QR sign and table cards for it. This page explains what information is handled when you create a drop, contact us, or buy a Photodrop tier.

Information you provide

When you create a drop, you type an event name and pick a date. Nothing else is required, and there is no account to create. If you personalize your printable pieces in the print studio, that happens in your browser, drawn from your own drop.

If you email Photodrop, we receive the email address and message content you send.

Photodrop event photos

When you create a drop, Photodrop stores the event name, the options you choose, an optional support email, and the photos guests upload. Photos live in Cloudflare object storage and are reachable only through your drop's private tokenized links. There are no accounts and no public galleries.

Every album is deleted automatically, by design. When your album window ends, uploads and downloads stop, and the photos are permanently deleted from our storage shortly after; nobody has to remember to clean up (we keep a short grace period of a few days so a morning-after upgrade can still recover the full album). The host can delete any photo at any time; deleted photos are removed from storage.

Guest phones get a random id saved in their browser so each device's shot count works. It identifies the browser to that one drop only. Photodrop does not fingerprint devices and does not track guests across events or sites.

The QR sign and your links

Your QR sign and table cards are drawn in your browser by the print studio, from your drop’s own guest upload link. The printed QR opens your guest upload page, so anyone holding the sign can add photos; that is its job. Keep the admin link to yourself: it is the one that manages the drop and downloads the album.

Analytics

Photodrop uses Google Analytics on its home pages only, to understand page views, checkout clicks, and confirmed purchases. The pages where your drop lives, creating, uploading, managing, and printing, load no analytics at all. Your private links and your photos never reach Google Analytics.

Checkout

Paid Photodrop tiers are handled by Polar. Polar processes payment, order, invoice, customer portal, tax, and file-delivery information. Photodrop receives the order and checkout status needed to apply your upgrade, deliver included files, and measure conversion. Photodrop never sees your card details.

Third-party services

Photodrop uses Google Analytics and Polar, and answers support over email. Those services handle information under their own privacy policies.

How information is used

Photodrop uses information to run Photodrop and the site, deliver your album, make your printable pieces, answer support messages, complete purchases, improve pages, and understand which traffic sources are working. Photodrop does not sell personal information and does not use guest photos for anything except delivering them to the event host.
